UFC Fight Night 42 results, LIVE online streaming coverage for 'Henderson vs Khabilov'

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to FOX Sports 1 this weekend (Sat., June 7, 2014) with UFC Fight Night 42: "Henderson vs. Khabilov" from Tingley Coliseum, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Get complete, official results, live updates and real-time coverage starting at 7:30 p.m. ET on fight night below.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back in action AGAIN this weekend (Sat., June 7, 2014) with a FOX Sports 1-televised main card that features an important Lightweight main event between former division champion, Ben Henderson, against fringe Top 10-ranked contender, Rustam Khabilov.

The UFC Fight Night 42 action, which will take place inside Tingley Coliseum, Albuquerque, N.M., will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET with a one-match "Prelims" broadcast that will stream online via Fight Pass digital network before transitioning to FOX Sports 1 for the remainder of the under- and main-card matches.

In addition to the headliner, The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) winners from separate seasons, Diego Sanchez and Ross Pearson, will collide in an explosive 155-pound scrap, while former No. 1-ranked Flyweight title challengers, John Dodson and John Moraga, mix it up at 125 pounds.

155 lbs.: Ben Henderson vs. Rustam Khabilov

Round one: Khabilov aggressive with his overhand right early. Henderson lands a nice straight left hand. Khabilov's right hand misses again. Khabilov lands a nice left hook. Henderson lands a solid combination but gets too aggressive and is taken down. He's quickly back to his feet, and Khabilov looks for his suplex. He can't get it, and the fight moves back into the center. Khabilov lands a hard right hand. Henderson goes for a jumping something and gets taken down for his troubles. Khabilov maintains top position for the final twenty seconds.

Khabilov 10-9

Round two: Both men land in an early exchange. Khabilov seems to be the more powerful man at the moment. Henderson lands a pair of left hands. He looks for a trip in the clinch but cannot get it. Henderson goes for a step knee but gets countered. Khabilov hits a takedown after Henderson gets too aggressive. Henderson quickly kicks Khabilov off of him. Henderson takes Khabilov down then gets his back! Sambo guys don't normally have a lot of experience from the back mount, so this could get interesting. Khabilov spins out, and the fight moves to the feet. Henderson pursues a double leg against the cage. Khabilov stuffs the shot, and the fight moves back to the center. Henderson lands a powerful leg kick near the end of the round. Close, close round.

Round three: Khabilov lands a left hook to start the round. Henderson lands a hard leg kick, but it gets him momentarily taken down. Henderson lands a body kick. Khabilov lands a nice left hook after a clinch exchange. Henderson grabs a guillotine but cannot finish it. He transitions into a double leg against the fence but does not get it. Khabilov hits a takedown, gets elevated by Henderson's butterfly, then is taken down himself. Henderson finishes the round on top. Another very close round.

Round four: Henderson pressures as Khabilov looks to spin. Henderson looks for a body lock takedown but cannot get it. Henderson lands a lead uppercut that rocks Khabilov! Henderson jumps on Khabilov's back and chokes him out! Henderson earns his first UFC finish.

Final result: Henderson defeats Khabilov via submission (RNC) at 1:16 of round 4

155 lbs.: Ross Pearson vs. Diego Sanchez

Round one: Pearson throws a lot of body shots early. He then lands a very hard right hand that causes Sanchez to stumble a bit. Pearson's right hand counter is money. With two minutes left, Sanchez has yet to shoot for a takedown. Pearson's footwork is on point tonight. Sanchez lands a nice body kick. Pearson counters a Sanchez flurry with an uppercut to the mid-section. Sanchez gets hit with a head kick, which angers him, so he attacks with a flurry that partially connects. Sanchez lands another flurry as the round ends.

10-9 Pearson

Round two: Sanchez shoots for a single leg that is easily stuff. He's really looking for a head kick that doesn't seem to be there. Pearson walks Sanchez down. Pearson lands an uppercut to the chin. Pearson lands a lead uppercut that rock Sanchez momentarily. Pearson lands a body kick. Pearson lands another body kick as Sanchez attempts to come over the top with a right hand. Big right hand drops Sanchez. Sanchez then slaps his chest and waves Pearson on. Pearson eats a couple knees from "The Nightmare." Pearson lands a nice check hook. Sanchez then misses the majority of a flurry as the round ends.

Round three: Sanchez lands a nice body punch, but Pearson avoids the rest of his strikes. Pearson lands a body kick. Pearson ducks under a hook. And another. Pearson lands two straight uppercuts to the body as he slips punches. Sanchez lands a nice straight punch then misses badly on a flying knee. Pearson lands a nice combo after dodging a spin kick. Nice left hook counter lands for Pearson. Then a straight right. Pearson then lands a hard body kick and right hook. Pearson lands another combination then ducks a wheel kick. The two men exchanges at the bell.

Final result: Sanchez defeats Pearson via split decision (30-27, 27-30, 29-28)

125 lbs.: John Dodson vs. John Moraga

Round one: Lots of feints from Dodson early while Moraga looks to land some low kicks. Dodson lands a nice punch to the body then eats a low blow. Dodson jogs it off, and the fight restarts. Moraga isn't throwing much, as Dodson lands a nice step knee. Dodson is much quicker than Moraga, who just cannot land strikes. Dodson lands a couple nice left hands. Moraga shoots for a single leg that is easily stuffed. Dodson's doubling up on his left hand, and it's working well.

Round two: Dodson's left hand lands early. Moraga lands a decent leg kick then misses on some punches. Moraga lands a couple punches and then looks for some clinch knees, so Dodson takes him down. Moraga quickly gets back to his feet. Dodson is throwing fewer strikes this round. He lands a nice front kick, but Moraga is starting to find his range a bit. Dodson lands a nice little knee to straight left combo. Teep kick to the belly from Dodson.Dodson hurts Moraga with a flurry of punches and then lands a hard head kick/knee . Moraga is hurt badly and bleeding a lot, but he does not give up and survives until the bell.

Wow. The doctor stop the fight due to Moraga's broken nose.

Final result: Dodson defeats Moraga via TKO (Doctor Stoppage) at 5:00 of round 2

155 lbs.: Rafael dos Anjos vs. Jason High

Round one: High lands a nice right hand to open the fight. RDA throws a couple of switch high kicks then lands a right hand. High hits a double leg against the cage. RDA quickly back up to his feet, but High hits another slam takedown. RDA uses an open guard well to threaten with submissions. RDA nearly gets a kimura twice and uses it to stand on the second attempt. RDA lands a hard body punch then kick. High looks to have been slowed by those body shots. Another body kick lands. RDA lands a nice combination that stuns High. He then lands a nice double leg with about a minute left in the round. RDA finishes the round on top.

10-9 dos Anjos

Round two:  RDA lands another hard body kick. An eye poke from RDA stops the fight momentarily. High looks to have gotten his wind back and hits a takedown. RDA quickly gets back to his feet then attacks with a flying knee. RDA lands a sharp right hand then a takedown. RDA drops back for a guillotine when High scrambles, but he misses it. High momentarily has top position. They get back to their feet and fight in the clinch. Nice bombo lands for High. RDA drops High badly! High clings to a single leg, and the ref stops it rather early for my taste.

Final result: dos Anjos defeats High via TKO (punches) at 3:36 of round 2

155 lbs.: Yves Edwards vs. Piotr Hallman

Round one: Edwards opens the bout by throwing some powerful kicks to the body. Hallman returns fire with some kicks of his own. Edwards is countering quite well, but he gets poked in the eye. Hallman is pushing forward aggresively with combos, but Edwards is ducking well. Edwards stuffs a takedown and lands his left hand. Hallman lands a takedown, but Edwards returns to his feet. Edwards lands a nice combo. Hallman lands a couple nice body kicks. Edwards slips on a kick, and Hallman takes top position. Edwards reverses position, and the round ends in the clinch. Very close round.

Edwards 10-9

Round two: Hallman lands a nice body kick then a couple punches. A second eye poke from Hallman halts the action, but no point is taken. Edwards stuffs a takedown. Edwards lands a nice counter elbow. Edwards now eye pokes Hallman. That's three in about seven minutes, but the fight continues. Hallman is pressuring well and walking through counters. Hallman is landing a lot of knees. Edwards stuffs a takedown then looks for one of his own against the clinch. Hallman reverses and gains top position. Hallman opens Edwards up with an elbow. Edwards looks very tired at the end of the round.

Hallman 10-9

Round three: Hallman continues to pressure and land strikes. Edwards stuffs a takedown attempt with a whizzer. Edwards stuffs another takedown. Hallman finally hits a single leg takedown. Hallman sneaks around to back mount and locks in a rear naked choke for the finish!

Final result: Hallman defeats Edwards via submission (RNC) at 2:31 of round 3

135 lbs.: Bryan Caraway vs. Erik Perez

Round one: Perez looks excited to start the bout. Caraway is landing a counter left hook, but his takedowns are stuffed. Perez takes Caraway down directly into a guillotine choke. Caraway lets go to stand back up. Perez looks to hammer away at the body with hooks. Caraway catches a head kick, takes Perez down, and locks up a body triangle from the back mount. Caraway loses the body triangle but is hunting for the rear naked. Perez reverses into Caraway's guard. Caraway threatens with a guillotine to stand up once more. Big knee lands for Perez, but Caraway eats it well. Perez lands a nice combination. Caraway finishes a takedown at the end of the round, but Perez stands.

10-9 Caraway

Round two: Perez lands an early takedown, but Caraway sweeps him immediately into side control. Caraway takes Perez's back once again and locks up another body triangle. Caraway gets under the chin and slowly forces the submission. Beautiful finish from the back mount.

Final result: Caraway defeats Perez via submission (RNC) at 1:52 of round 2

UFC FIGHT NIGHT 42 UNDER CARD "PRELIMS" PLAY-BY-PLAY (FOX Sports 1):

135 lbs.: Yaotzin Meza vs. Sergio Pettis

Round one: Lots of feints to start off the bout. Meza lands a couple nice low kicks. Pettis is coming up just short on most of his strikes. Pettis lands a sharp leg kick. Neither man has done much with two minutes left in the round. Meza lands a decent left-right combo. Pettis stuffs a takedown. The crowd boos as the round ends. Neither man definitely took the round, but Meza's slightly higher volume wins it for me.

10-9 Meza

Round two: Pettis looks a bit looser to start the second round. He lands a couple nice jabs. Meza nearly gets a takedown, but Pettis limp-legs out. Pettis' jab is really starting to land. That said, there's still not a lot of activity from either guy. Pettis lands a hard leg kick. Meza is the one pressuring, but Pettis is landing the cleaner shots. Pettis lands a head kick over the jab of Meza, and Meza is hurt! He shoots for a single leg takedown, which allows him to clear the cobwebs. Meza recovers as the bell sounds.

10-9 Pettis

Round three: Both men seem relatively fresh to start the round. Pettis' jab and leg kick from the outside are now landing consistently. Pettis throwing lots of kicks, and Meza has no answer. Meza has almost completely stopped throwing strikes. Meza gets a bit more aggressive with his movement and boxing. Pettis' lateral movement is too smooth for Meza to trap him against the fence. Meza shoots for a single leg and works for it against the fence. He switches to a double leg and gets it with less than a minute remaining. Pettis attacks with an omoplata to end the round.

10-9 Pettis

Final result: Pettis defeats Meza via unanimous decision (29-28,29-28,29-28)

170 lbs.: Lance Benoist vs. Bobby Voelker

Round one: Benoist is moving very well and landing some clean strikes. He misses an early takedown. Voelker is charging forward recklessly but hitting plenty of air. Benoist gets a takedown and then passes guard. He looks for submissions, but nothing is available. Voelker reverses at the end of the round.

Benoist 10-9

Round two: Benoist lands a powerful counter early. He gets a takedown momentarily, but Voelker gets back to his feet. Voelker's brawling is becoming more effective, and he hurts his opponent. Benoist is very tired. Voelker reverses a takedown and rides out the rest of the round on top.

Voelker 10-9

Round three: Voelker rocks Benoist with a left hook then lands a hard knee. Benoist looking for a double leg, but it is stuffed. Voelker looks for a guillotine. Voelker goes for a throw from the clinch but ends up on the bottom. Benoist passes his guard and sits in mount for a couple minutes. With about thirty seconds left in the round, Voelker reverses. It's likely too little, too late.

Final result: Benoist defeats Voelker via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)

125 lbs.: Scott Jorgensen vs. Danny Martinez

Round one: Martinez is swinging for the fences but hasn't landed much. Martinez is running all over the place, but he gets taken down. Jorgensen looking to get his back and ends up in turtle. Martinez escapes to his feet. Jorgensen ducks under a straight left hand for his second takedown. Martinez looks to stand, but Jorgensen suplexes him this time. Jorgensen has the back with both hooks in. Martinez stands and gets slammed once more. He lands a hard right uppercut from the turtle. Martinez stands with thirty seconds left and lands a few nice punches to end the round.

10-9 Jorgensen

Round two: Martinez lands some hard shot to start the second. He drops Jorgensen hard with a big left hand, but Jorgensen fights back to his feet. The two are clinched against the cage. Some uppercuts and a knee hurt Jorgensen once again. Martinez may have tired himself trying to finish. Jorgensen seems to have recovered fairly well and begins stalking his opponent. Jorgensen lands a strong right hand that forces Martinez to shoot. He is stuffed. Jorgensen lands a hard uppercut and continues to back Martinez up. Jorgensen lands a hard combo then takes Martinez down. Jorgensen is putting Martinez through the meat grinder on the ground. Really tough round to score.

10-9 Martinez

Round three: Martinez looks a bit fresher, but he's still fatigued. Jorgensen hits a double leg against the fence. He passes the guard and looks for a kimura from side control. Nothing comes of it. Martinez scrambles back to his feet and shoots for a takedown of his own. Jorgensen gets his second double leg of the round. Martinez back to his feet and partially scores with a combo. Unfortunately for him, he's too tired to stop Jorgensen's double leg. He can, however, return to his feet. Martinez hurts him with another overhand left and tries to flurry, but Jorgensen shows some serious heart and blasts through a double. Jorgensen controls top position to the bell.

10-9 Jorgensen

Final result: Jorgensen defeats Martinez via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)

155 lbs.: Jake Lindsey vs. Jon Tuck

Round one: Tuck throws a right hand and transitions directly into a body lock, but Lindsey shows some impressive takedown defense by avoiding the trip. From the Thai clinch, Lindsey lands enough knees to back Tuck away. Lindsey lands a nice knee, but then gets ROCKED by a hard overhand. He shoots for a takedown and winds up on his back in half guard. Lindsey recovers well and reverses back to his feet. Lindsey lands another solid knee to the body. Tuck's looping punches are landing well, but he's tiring. Lindsey pushes forward despite the hard punches. Tuck gets a clinch takedown. Tuck isn't doing a lot, but the ref stands the fight up much too soon. Lindsey throwing some rib roasters in the clinch, and he very much looks the part of a grinder.

10-9 Tuck

Round two: Lindsey opens with a nice body kick. Tuck looks to have caught his second wind and lands a nice combo. Back in the clinch, Lindsey is landing his body shots consistently. They break out of the clinch, and both men are landing. Tuck's jab is working nicely. Tuck threatens with a guillotine to stop a takedown, but he's back in the clinch again. Lindsey lands some nice kicks on the break and is pressuring his opponent. Tuck lands a takedown with about a minute-thirty left. Tuck is doing very little damage from the top, and Lindsey escapes out the back door and the fight moves into the clinch. Very close round.

10-9 Tuck

Round three: Tuck lands a hard right hand and takedown to start the round. Tuck passes the guard into mount and is looking for an armbar. Lindsey escapes but is still caught in mount. Lindsey gives up his back. Tuck lands a few heel kicks to the body, which causes Lindsey to tap out. Wow.

Final result: Tuck defeats Lindsey via submission (heel kicks) at 2:47 of round 3

UFC FIGHT NIGHT 42 UNDER CARD "PRELIMS" PLAY-BY-PLAY (Fight Pass):

205 lbs.: Patrick Cummins vs. Roger Narvaez

Round one: Narvaez misses on some punches then stuffs a takedown. Cummins is showing some decent head movement. On his third single leg attempt, Cummins finishes the shot. Narvaez is playing an open guard, and "Durkin" looks to pass. Cummins lets him back to his feet. Narvaez lands a jab, but neither man is throwing a very high volume of strikes. Cummins gets a second takedown. Cummins does very little with top position and lets Narvaez up again.

10-9 Cummins

Round two: Narvaez may have an injured leg judging by his corner conversation. Both men score in an exchange near the fence. Cummins powers through a double leg takedown. Cummins landing some hard shots from the turtle. Narvaez rolls back to his half guard, but Cummins stands over and lands a flurry to end the bout.

Final result: Cummins defeats Narvaez via TKO (punches) at 2:28 of round 2
