Crawford vs Gamboa video highlights

Terrence Crawford stopped Yuriorkis Gamboa in the ninth round to retain his lightweight title last Saturday night (June 28, 2014) inside the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Gamboa -- a 2004 Olympic medalist for Cuba -- was able to hurt the champ early and seemed to be in control for the first couple of rounds. Unfortunately, "El Ciclon de Guantánamo" was unable to hang on and wound up getting dropped four times by "Bud," including the brutal uppercut seen in the HBO Boxing video highlights above. Crawford improves to 24-0, while Gamboa drops to 23-1.
