Bigfoot Silva wants to teach 'fake' Josh Barnett how to be polite after 'Warmaster' mocked his disease

Antonio Silva wants to throw down with Josh Barnett inside the Octagon, but "The Warmaster" isn't interested, as he has his sights set on bigger and better fights, ones that actually make sense.

Plus, Barnett doesn't want "Bigfoot," a guy he isn't too fond of, to make any make any money or gain further ground in mixed martial arts (MMA) at his expense.

But according to an amused Silva, Barnett's reason for not accepting his challenge is rather confusing and hilarious, seeing as how Silva is actually ranked higher than Barnett.

Furthermore, Travis Browne, the last man to defeat Barnett, was previously laid out himself by the massive hands of the Brazilian (video). So you can see why "Bigfoot's" goal to fight Barnett isn't to gain ground, but to rather "teach him some politeness" for mocking his health.

That's what he told Combate (via Bloody Elbow):

"It's funny of him to say this. Made me laugh he saying that he doesn't want to make me gain ground in any way. He has just lost for a guy who was KO'd by me and I'm one position above Barnett in the official ranking, because I'm in fourth place and he is in fifth. I laughed. To say the truth, he is a fake person. Right after my surgery to take away a tumor of my acromegaly, he mocked of my disease. One day I was with my wife at a Fan Expo and he stared at me because I was with my family. He has never looked into my eyes, only in this day. He wants to be the good guy, the funny one. We are professionals, for me he is a good fighter, on of the five best of the division but he disrespected me in his last interview. If his mother hasn't teached him politeness, I'll (will)."

Nevertheless, "The Warmaster" will likely not change his mind about fighting Silva anytime soon, if ever.

But given the fact that these two big men refuse to pass up an opportunity to bash one other in the media, don't you think it's high time that they just get it over with and settle there differences mano-a-mano?

That, or they can just simply move on. Barnett is trying to do as much, but "Bigfoot," it seems, has no plans on letting up one bit.
