WTF? EA Sports UFC video game fail compilation exposes bugs, glitches, and hilarious errors

All that glitters, it would seem, is not gold.

As real as it gets?

EA Sports UFC, the latest entry into the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) video game market, hit store shelves last week (June 17, 2014) to much fanfare. Unfortunately, it only managed to pull a score of 71 on MetaCritic (6.5 user score) for PlayStation 4.

That's a C- in academic terms.

The publishing giant earned high marks in terms of appearance, as the game "looks great" and has "incredible detail." But on the flip side, users were disappointed by the "frustrating mechanics" and "glaring technical issues," like recurring "bugs" and bizarre "glitches."

And the folks at MMA Junkie were able to compile a hilarious compilation of what can -- and often will -- go wrong.

Alexander Gustafsson goes full Matrix:

Jon Jones dies via head shot:

Clay Guida TKO'd by narcolepsy:

"Bones" gives "The Mauler" a piggy-back ride:

Ronda Rousey says "Anything Jones can do, I can do better."

"Shogun" Rua knocks out Vitor Belfort ... with his breath?

Jon Jones plays peek-a-boo with his own arm:

EA Sports UFC is also available on Xbox ONE.

That, unfortunately, is just a small sample, but the biggest offender seems to be the invisible knockout, which I'm sure can be frustrating if you're trying to rack up a nice win streak to unlock achievements. Get more details on EA Sports UFC video game here.

So ... who's up for a game of Street Fighter Alpha 3?
