UFC hall of fame: Dana White wants to induct entire TUF 1 cast, including 'pissed' Canadian washout

Move over Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar, your reality show brethren could be close to joining you.

USA TODAY Sports

If Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White has his way (and he usually does), combat sports reality show veteran Jason Thacker could soon become a UFC hall of famer.

Wait ... who?

"Strange Brew" has a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) record of 0-1, thanks to a technical knockout loss to Chris Leben in the 2005 finale of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 1. It's kind of surprising he even made it that far, after getting sent home by coach Randy Couture on episode two.

But as White told FOX Sports, the Canadian was an important part of the series' winning formula.

"I think that's a must. I think that entire season should be inducted. Without a doubt that group of people are all game changers. I've thought about the whole cast should be (in the hall of fame). Even the Canadian Jason Thacker -- without the group of people that we had and the way the synergy worked and the way things went down, that season really launched everything."

Thacker -- who was not a big fan of training -- is perhaps best remembered for having his bed pissed on by "The Crippler."

The promotion is expected to announce its next round of hall-of-fame inductions in the coming days. The ceremony takes place at the UFC Fan Expo over Fourth of July Weekend (Sat., July 5, 2014) inside Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, (more on that here).

In the meantime, what do you think of having an entire season of "game changers" entering the hallowed halls?
