WSOF 10 payouts and salaries from 'Branch vs. Taylor' in Las Vegas: $36k is top payday

And it belongs to new middleweight champion David Branch.

World Series of Fighting (WSOF) 10: "Branch vs Taylor" took place last Saturday night (June 21, 2014) from inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the main card saw two new champions crowned, as David Branch became the promotion's first middleweight champion, while Rick Glenn upset Georgi Karakhanyan for the featherweight strap.

Branch earned $36,000 for his gold-grabbing performance, while Glenn cashed a check for $14,000.

Also taking home a title was strawweight champion Jessica Aguilar, who beat Emi Fujino from pillar-to-post over the course of their five-round title fight. And according to figures released from Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC), "Jag" is now $35,000 richer.

Keep in mind the salaries listed above do not include fight bonuses, sponsorships, percentages and other unofficial payments. It also does not include deductions for expenses such as insurance, taxes, etc.

For example, Marciea Allen missed weight and was forced to hand over 20-percent of her purse to Ashlee Evans-Smith, which was only $200, but is still a hefty blow when all you make is $1,000 to show.
