Ben Saunders on Bjorn Rebney: I did everything in my power to get his ass fired from Bellator MMA

Because Rebney was "two-facing like a fake ass motherf---er..."

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Spor

Bjorn Rebney was fired from Bellator MMA -- the company he founded -- after a falling out with Viacom executives over the tournament format on Spike TV, among many other things. And before he could even clean out his desk, Scott Coker was hired to replace him.

Former Bellator fighter Ben Saunders (via The Underground) believes he may have had a hand in it.

"I actually take pride knowing I might have had a little something to do with Viacom's decision. At least I did what I could to let the people in charge at Viacom know that piece of s--- had to go! This was way before it actually happened. Yes! I did everything in my power to get his ass fired while still fighting for them... P.S. My fastest win in Bellator is because I was visualizing my opponent was Bjorn Rebney. That is 100% fact, No lie!"

Ouch.

Along with Saunders, Rebney had his fair share of critics, including one of his biggest stars and of course, his biggest rival. But he also had a couple of high-profile allies (like this guy) and left more than one mixed martial arts (MMA) fan feeling conflicted over the change.

The moral of the story? Don't piss off Ben Saunders!
