World Series of Fighting (WSOF) returns with another installment of mixed martial arts (MMA) action, invading Hard Rock and Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada for WSOF 10: "Branch vs. Taylor."
MMAmania.com will provide LIVE blow-by-blow, round-by-round coverage of the WSOF 10 main card fights TONIGHT (Sat., June 21, 2014), beginning with the NBC Sports telecast at 10 p.m. ET. In addition, we'll deliver up-to-the-minute quick results of all the preliminary card action much earlier in the evening (beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET).
Three title fights are on deck tonight, including the inaugural middleweight championship bout between David Branch vs. Jesse Taylor, which serves as the night's headliner.
In the co-main event, featherweight champion Georgi Karakhanyan looks for his first successful title defense against top prospect and Roufusport product Rick Glenn.
Rounding up the title bouts is a women's strawweight championship match pitting the revered champion Jessica Aguilar against the well-traveled Emi Fujino.
The night of action kicks off TONIGHT (June 21, 2014) at 7:00 p.m. ET with the "Prelims" bouts, and once those fights conclude, switch your televisions over to NBC Sports at 10 p.m. ET for the televised main card and follow along in this post for a great night of discussion in the comments section below.

Round 1: Both look a little shaky in the standup, and Taylor goes for the takedown. Branch scrambles, and finds himself in a guillotine choke early. Branch stays calm and works his way out of it, and now Branch secures a d'arce choke after staying in his foe's guard. Taylor taps. Just. Like. That.

145 lbs.: Georgi Karakhanyan vs. Rick Glenn
Round 1: Georgi lands a takedown right from the get-go after Glenn throws a kick. Georgi in side control, keeping busy with punches. Glenn tries to shoot back up and leaves his neck out. Georgi goes for the choke, but lets go. Georgi postures up, and goes for the choke once again. He lets Glenn maneuver a bit, and takes his back. Glenn looks to be squeaking out of it, and Georgi has him in an armbar. Glenn stays calm, and somehow breaks out of it. He's now on his feet, trying to land some heavy punches, and ends up in the champion's guard. Glenn is now in side control, landing punches. Wild first round.
Round 2: Glenn works Georgi up against the fence, but Georgi stacks up and looks for a guillotine. Glenn defends well, and Georgi now working the takedown with Glenn's back to the cage. Georgi lets go and lands an elbow. Georgi goes for another takedown after they moved back to the center. Georgi gets the takedown, but Glenn stays on his knees and forces Georgi back. Glenn is on his feet, landing a lot of punches and batters Georgi. Glenn is using his reach, and he's landing a lot of punches. Georgi gets back up, and Glenn puts him back against the cage. Georgi drops down, and he's taking a beating. He gets up, and Glenn keeps working as his foe has a takedown stuffed. Glenn keeps active until the horn sounds. The corner doesn't allow Georgi to continue, and they don't send their fighter out in the third round. New champion. Apparently, Georgi's ribs are cracked.

115 lbs.: Jessica Aguilar vs. Emi Fujino
Round 1: Aguilar patient in the opening sequence, staying away from Fujino's strikes. Punch lands for Aguilar. Aguilar ties Fujino up against the cage, and lands a few knees to her opponent's thighs. Fujino breaks free, and they're back in the center. Big right hand from Aguilar. Fujino lands a right of her own in a flurry, and then tries to storm in . Aguilar lands a right, but Fujino lands a straight right. Aguilar having a bit of trouble when looking for openings on the inside. Right hands from Aguilar, and Fujino's nose is bloodied. Fujino staying in there, and Aguilar is working her jabs and following up with rights. Fujino misses with a big left hand. Aguilar constantly landing the 1-2, ending with a right hand which is landing heavy. Jab from Aguilar. Aguilar then lands a slick combination, and shakes off Fujino who tries to tie her up.
Round 2: Fujino a little hesitant now, and Aguilar starts to turn on the pressure. Aguilar keeps landing her patented combination throughout the fight thus far, constantly decking Fujino with the right hand. Aguilar fakes a takedown and lands a right hand. Fujino lands a left hook. Aguilar lands another jab, followed by a right hand. Aguilar comfortably goes for a spinning back fist, which misses. Fujino keeps on coming forward, but her punches are a little too weak to trouble Aguilar. Fujino lands a right hand, but Aguilar staggers her with a right of her own. They both land in a flurry, and Aguilar misses with a big right hand. Fujino lands a straight left, but Aguilar is still coming in with combinations. Right hand from Aguilar, followed by a kick to the body. Aguilar mixing it up with kicks, but Fujino presses forward and bloodies Aguilar's nose a little bit.
Round 3: Fujino lands the first strike of the round with a left hand. A big right hand misses for Aguilar. Aguilar goes to the body, and follows up with a right hand. Fujino counters a low kick with a straight right hand that lands flush. Aguilar lands a right hand and gets out of the pocket. Aguilar shifts levels, landing a takedown and sends Fujino on her back. Aguilar sneaks in a head and arm choke, and Fujino is trying to hold on. Fujino still holding on, and Aguilar isn't letting go of it. It's going on for a while now, and Aguilar goes into mount instead, starting to rain down punches. Aguilar steers her towards the cage, and starts to land some big elbows. Aguilar gets Fujino leaking with some more ground and pound. Fujino is taking some big elbows and punches, but survives the round.
Round 4: Fujino lands a big right hand. Fujino eats another punch, this time a short right hand. An eye poke from Aguilar halts the action momentarily. The doctor comes in, and all is good. Fujino still leaping in with punches, but Aguilar is countering her by repeatedly landing her right hand. Combo blocked for Fujino, and Aguilar lands another right hand. Aguilar decks Fujino with another right, followed by a knee to the body. Aguilar threatens with a takedown, but lets it up. She ties Fujino against the cage, mixing up her strikes and lets go. Aguilar's leg kick wobbles Fujino, and she ties her up against the cage once more. Aguilar comes forward again after a break, and commits to more fence work.
Round 5: Fujino looks motivated and a little sharper, landing with a nice right hand. Fujino pressing forward with jabs, and Aguilar just misses with a big right hand. Aguilar still working her combinations, mixing it up with leg kicks, too. Spinning kick lands for Aguilar, but Fujino shakes it off. Fujino is more committed to her punches, with Aguilar defending well. Fujino misses with a right hand, and Aguilar staggers her with a right punch before putting her up against the cage. The action is a bit slow here. Aguilar breaks apart, and they're back in the middle. Spinning back kick from Aguilar, and she secures the takedown. She works with punches, and stays heavy on top.
Final result: Jessica Aguilar def. Emi Fujino via unanimous decision (50-44x3)

155 lbs.: Luiz Firmino vs. Tyson Griffin
Round 1: Griffin storms out and misses a head kick. Griffin goes in with a right hand, and Firmino decks him with a right, followed by a left after a slip. Firmino has his back on the ground, and he's trying to get his hooks in. Griffin storms out and reverses positioning. He attacks with a guillotine, but Firmino gets his head out rather easily. Firmino in half guard, and they scramble until they're back on their feet. Both lightweights are slugging it out, throwing wild punches. Griffin throwing combinations, but Firmino sneaks in a left hook that has the American backing up. Two big right hands from Griffin, and Firmino goes for the takedown. Griffin threatens with another guillotine, but Firmino shakes it off and stays heavy on top. Griffin makes his way back up to his feet, and Firmino nails him with a right. Griffin misses a front kick, and ferociously starts to slug it out. Firmino keeps his distance to close the round.
Round 2: Firmino takes a heavy punch from Griffin. The former UFC lightweight fires off another combination from the pocket. Big right from Griffin, and Firmino locks him up for a rear naked choke attempt. Griffin tries to shake him off, and Firmino sticks to his back. Griffin gets loose and Firmino finds himself on his back. Griffin is trying to control his opponent's hips, but he isn't doing much here. Griffin is wary and postures up, going for the guillotine again. Firmino is now on his feet, and Griffin lands a left hook. Low kick from Griffin, and he's swinging for the fences. Firmino decks him with a straight right, and goes for the takedown. Griffin defends well, and tosses Firmino on his back. Griffin is a little busier in his guard, but Firmino reverses and gets Griffin's back. Elbows from Firmino, but nothing too threatening.
Round 3: Griffin lands a right hand, and Firmino is walking right into his strikes. Solid left hand lands for Firmino, followed by a right. Griffin working his jab, and circling out of Firmino's power strikes. Head kick lands from Griffin, who backs up after landing a quick combination. Firmino drives Griffin across the cage for a takedown. Firmino is in Griffin's guard, but he's simply laying on top of him. Griffin is doing well off his back, landing some elbows to soften up his opponent. Firmino transitions to half guard, and keeps active but doesn't damage Griffin whatsoever while staying dominant.
Final result: Luiz Firmino def. Tyson Griffin via unanimous decision (29-28x2, 30-27)

145 lbs.: Nick LoBosco vs. Lance Palmer
Round 1: Nice kick by LoBosco to open things up. Both fighters are light on the feet. Palmer misses with a big left hand. Takedown stuffed by LoBosco. Nice right hand from Palmer. Takedown from Palmer, who drives LoBosco nearly halfway across the cage. Palmer takes the back, and goes for the rear naked choke. Palmer can't lock in the choke, so he starts to pummel LoBosco on the sides of his head. Palmer active with punches, and LoBosco is on his stomach not doing much. Palmer goes for the choke again, and this time his left arm is starting to sink in under the chin. Palmer goes for more power strikes, as LoBosco keeps covering up. Palmer then surprises his foe and sinks in the choke. LoBosco taps.
