ONE FC unveils ambitious multi-fight expansion plan for China

China is the most populous country on the planet and it is set to play host to more ONE FC events than any other country.

ONE FC put out a press release earlier today to announce it has partnered with AMC Live Group and will be putting on four events in mainland China this year and a further 10 in 2015. The Singapore-based promotion already has a July card booked for Taiwan and looks set to expand even further north.

ONE FC, Asia’s largest mixed martial arts (MMA) organization with a 90% market share, announced today that they have agreed to a blockbuster deal with world-renowned event promoter, AMC Live Group. This historical partnership marks the entry of ONE FC into China, the world's most populous country. ONE FC will be holding an unprecedented ten events a year in ten different cities across the country, starting with 4 events this year.

After putting on multiple events in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines ONE FC is now moving further afield with Thailand, South Korea and Cambodia all believed to be high on the agenda but none of these countries will play host to as many events in the immediate future as China.

ONE FC CEO Victor Cui stated, "This monumental agreement will redefine the sport of mixed martial arts forever! ONE Fighting Championship will become the first world class mixed martial arts organization ever to hold an event in mainland China. China is the birthplace of martial arts like Sanda, Wushu, and Kung Fu and there is a rich martial arts tradition. ONE FC will be available to over one billion people in China alone and will bring adrenaline-pumping mixed martial arts action to ten different cities across the country a year. The landscape of mixed martial arts will be changed forever as China welcomes ONE FC!

AMC Live Group encompass all components of live entertainment, from large-scale variety shows, fan clubs, signings, artist management and endorsements, corporate image planning and marketing, public relations, event planning and execution, choreography, ticketing and equipment leasing and has successfully organized concerts and tours for international superstars such as Elton John, Faye Wong, Eason Chan, Jay Chou and Stefanie Sun.

We are already at the midpoint of 2014 which means an announcement about the date and venue of ONE FC's first ever show in mainland China should be imminent and fight fans will be looking forward to finding out where Asia's biggest promotion is heading and who is on the card.
