Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) was in session on Tuesday (June 17, 2014) to knock out a few outstanding items on its agenda, including the (bleak) future of retired Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight Chael Sonnen, along with his fleet-footed rival, Wanderlei Silva.

But some of the less-sensational items on the docket included the referee and judging assignments for the upcoming UFC 175 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which takes place on July 5, 2014 inside Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Veteran referee Herb Dean will call the shots inside the cage for the UFC 175 middleweight championship main event between Chris Weidman vs. Lyoto Machida, while Chris Lee, Marcos Rosales, and Glenn Trowbridge are charged with scoring the action.
That's not all.
Longtime man in black, Yves Lavigne, will oversee the bantamweight championship co-main event between Ronda Rousey vs. Alexis Davis, under the watchful eye of cageside judges, Derek Cleary, Doug Crosby, and Sal D'Amato, according to NSAC.
