Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion and UFC 175 co-headliner Ronda Rousey plays "Luna" alongside Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham in the upcoming action-thriller Expendables 3, expected to hit the big screen on August 15, 2014.
And she's in good company.
Joining "Rowdy" in the ensemble cast is Mel Gibson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, Harrison Ford, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Kelsey Grammar, and a bunch of other people you will undoubtedly recognize. And yes, Rousey gets to use her patented armbar against the bad guys.
Directed by Patrick Hughes (Red Hill), Expendables 3 features "Barney and his team, known as 'The Expendables,' coming into conflict with ruthless arms dealer Conrad Stonebanks, the Expendables' co-founder, who is determined to destroy the team."
