UFC 174 bonuses: Tae Hyun Bangs his way to $100K

Anne-Marie Sorvin-USA TODAY Sports

UFC 174: "Johnson vs. Bagautinov" from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, has officially wrapped, which means it's time for those select fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights to get a little extra grease for their efforts.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) dished out its standard post-fight monetary bonuses to four of the 20 fighters on the card, and it's probably no surprise who's heading home with a second sack of simoleons.

Errrr... pump the brakes. This is where I remind you the bonus structure has changed. "Fight of the Night" will still be awarded but the best knockout and submission will not earn any extra cash. Instead, there will be two "Performance of the Night" awards dished out.

Got it? Good.

This time around, Tae Hyun Bang double dipped with his thrilling knockout victory over Kajan Johnson, earning both "Fight of the Night" and "Performance of the Night" honors. Elsewhere, Kiichi Kunimoto was paid extra for his rear-naked choke submission over Daniel Sarafian.

Here are the special UFC 174 bonuses:

Performance of the Night -- Tae Hyun Bang

Performance of the Night -- Kiichi Kunimoto

Fight of the Night -- Tae Hyun Bang vs. Kajan Johnson

Again, each fighter received $50,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which we will pass along as soon as that information becomes available.
