Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is cutting checks in the wake of last weekend's (Sat., June 14, 2014) UFC Fight Night 42 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on FOX Sports 1, which took place inside Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, New Mexico (full results here).
And Ross Pearson wasn't the only one who got robbed.
UFC had to cough up an extra $70,000 for Diego Sanchez's "win" over "Real Deal" thanks to some wacky scoring by the cageside judges (more on that here). It also gave Pearson a $30,000 post-fight bonus for getting screwed on fight night (details).
