Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will send local hero Conor McGregor into the main event of its upcoming UFC Fight Night 46 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, where he takes on Brazilian import Diego Brandao inside The O2 in Dublin, Ireland, on July 19, 2014.
And you'll need a Fight Pass subscription to watch it.
But that's a small price to pay for the opportunity to spot a leprechaun in the crowd, since the promotion found it important enough to include in its UFC Fight Night 46 video preview. Then again, I'll take a drunken Irishman decked out in pink hearts, yellow moons, orange stars, and green clovers as opposed to that creepy guy who dresses in a Chuck Liddell body-snatcher suit.
Elsewhere on the Fight Pass-only card, Gunnar Nelson takes on Zak Cummings in welterweight action, while Ian McCall and Brad Pickett settle their longstanding score in the flyweight division.
