CB Dollaway takes high road, apologizes to Dana White for 'dynamic' UFC post-fight interview

I get the feeling not everyone would be as forgiving.

Andrew Richardson-USA TODAY Spor

It might be time to start talking about CB Dollaway.

The streaking middleweight is now 4-1 over his last five, and depending on how you scored his controversial fight against Tim Boetsch, it could easily be five straight, including last Saturday night's (May 31, 2014) win over Francis Carmont at UFC Fight Night 41 in Berlin, Germany (recap here).

The one that got him bagged on by UFC President Dana White.

Not because of his gritty performance, good enough to earn a sweep on the judges's scorecards, but for his "dynamic" post-fight interview that had the promotion's head cheese calling him out on Twitter. Once "The Doberman" got wind of the impromptu critique, he answered accordingly.

And took the high road.

Then followed up at the UFC Fight Night 41 post-fight press conference (via MMA Junkie):

"Yeah, I probably have to get better on the mic, but when you're exhausted after fighting - I let it all hang out, gave everything I had, so yeah, I was tired after the fight. It was a tough fight. I was bleeding out of both eyes. Sorry I couldn't put a better performance on the mic. I try to let my fighting do the talking, but next time, I'll have something better to say, I guess. Sorry."

Don't be. This isn't WWE.

Dollaway (15-5) is currently unranked in the middleweight division, but with his win over "Limitless" (No. 9), you can expect that to change when the official chart (see it here) is updated on Monday afternoon.

Where would you rank him?
