The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) Brazil 3 Finale: "Miocic vs. Maldonado" from Sao Paulo, Brazil, has officially wrapped, which means it's time for those select fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights to get a little extra grease for their efforts.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) dished out its standard post-fight monetary bonuses to four of the 24 fighters on the card, and it's probably no surprise who's heading home with a second sack of simoleons.
Errrr... pump the brakes. This is where I remind you the bonus structure has changed. "Fight of the Night" will still be awarded but the best knockout and submission will not earn any extra cash. Instead, there will be two "Performance of the Night" awards dished out.
Got it? Good.
This time around, Kevin Souza vs. Mark Eddiva was awarded "Fight of the Night" for their thrilling 145-pound throwdown while Warlley Alves was given a little extra for "Performance of the Night" after submitting Marcio Alexandre Junior to win the Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 and Stipe Miocic was given the same for knocking out Fabio Maldonado.
Here are the special TUF Brazil 3 Finale bonuses:
Performance of the Night -- Stipe Miocic
Performance of the Night -- Warlley Alves
Fight of the Night -- Kevin Souza vs. Mark Eddiva
Again, each fighter received $50,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which we will pass along as soon as that information becomes available.
