Junior dos Santos injured, pulled from Stipe Miocic fight at TUF Brazil Finale on May 31

The hunt is on for a last-minute replacement.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is searching for a new opponent for Stipe Miocic -- and perhaps a new main event -- for The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): "Brazil 3" mixed martial arts (MMA) event, scheduled for the Ibirapuera Arena in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on May 31, 2014.

That's because a hand injury has benched Junior dos Santos, according to Combate, with just over three weeks until fight night.

Dos Santos has been alternating wins and losses following his first title defense back in 2012. After stopping Frank Mir at UFC 146, "Cigano" suffered a crushing defeat to current heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez. A sensational head-kick finish against Mark Hunt at UFC 160 set up a trilogy, but he once again came up short in his quest for reclaiming the crown.

Now he'll have to wait just a little bit longer before slugging his way back into the win column.

Miocic, meanwhile, is in the midst of a two-fight win streak that includes decision wins over division veterans Roy Nelson and Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC 161 and UFC on FOX 10, respectively. In fact, in six Octagon appearances, the Croatian-American has just one loss, a technical knockout courtesy of Stefan Struve back in Sept. 2012, his only professional MMA loss.

He's healthy, hungry and ready to fight ... but who can the promotion find on such short notice? Not so easy, considering how many fighters are injured or on hiatus. Take a look at the current top 10 of the heavyweight division (right here) and lend your pick in the comments section below.
