Showtime was back in the boxing pay-per-view (PPV) business just last night (Sat., May 3, 2014) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, with yet another successful 147-pound championship outing from the planet's pound-for-pound best, Floyd Mayweather.
"Money" faced a tough challenge in Marcos Maidana, but while his resolve was tested it was not defeated. He won a majority decision.
Now about a rematch...
Elsewhere on the card, Amir Khan earned a unanimous decision victory over Luis Collazo, possibly throwing his name in the hat as Mayweather's next opponent, while Adrien Broner squeaked by Carlos Molina. The other main card bout saw J'Leon Love punch his way past Marco Antonio Periban.
