The final scores read 114-114 from Michael Pernick, 117-111 from Burt Clements, and 116-112 from Dave Moretti. Those scores have already led to a great debate that will undoubtedly never end.

No matter which way you slice it, it's fascinating to see Clements award Maidana just two rounds, Moretti three, and Pernick be the lone dissenter at six. Maidana was his strongest in the early rounds, bullying Floyd against the ropes and spamming an overhand right that had "Money" startled.

He admitted in the post-fight interview that this may have been his toughest fight, and was unquestionably the hardest bout he's been involved in spanning the past couple years.

But he is Floyd Mayweather and, well, Maidana being a massive underdog and doing better than expected may have gotten into a few heads.
