GLORY 16 results: Pat Barry knocked out by Zack Mwekassa in Denver

Pat Barry asked Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) to let him walk away from his mixed martial arts (MMA) contract so that he could pursue his first love and return to his kickboxing roots under the GLORY banner.

Be careful what you wish for.

"HD" debuted on the main card of GLORY 16: "Denver" on Sat. night (May 3, 2014) inside the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colorado, but found himself looking up at the lights after getting lit up by heavy-handed ex-boxer Zack Mwekassa.

Barry will no doubt get a second shot inside the promotion, but this latest knockout loss has to be cause for concern, considering how much punishment the stocky heavyweight took during his five-plus years inside the UFC Octagon. As for Mwekassa, he moves on to bigger and better things later this year.
