UFC Fight Night 40 drug test results come back clean for 'Brown vs. Silva' in Cincinnati

In the case of UFC drug tests, no news is good news.

UFC Fight Night 40 drug test results are in from Ohio Athletic Commission, which today (May 22, 2014) confirmed that all 15 mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters tested for illegal/banned substances following the May 10 fight card in Cincinnati have passed with flying colors.

Results from those battery of tests, which include performance enhancing drugs (PEDs) such as steroids and drugs of abuse like cocaine and marijuana, among others, all returned negative, according to MMA Junkie.

While specific names were not disclosed, the commission did confirm it tested main event participants Erick Silva and Matt Brown, while randomly spreading the remainder of the exams throughout the card, which pulled in pretty big numbers on FOX Sports 1.

Silva and Brown put on a hell of a show, too, with "Indio" nearly finishing "Immortal" in the first round. Brown stormed back, though, in savage fashion, putting his stamp on the Brazilian the rest of the way and sending him out of U.S. Bank Arena, on a stretcher.
