UFC 174: Ryan Jimmo vs. Ovince St. Preux booked for June 14 in Vancouver

Can Jimmo win back-to-back fights for the first time in his UFC career, or will St. Preux notch his fifth in a row?

Anne-Marie Sorvin-US PRESSWIRE

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has added an intriguing light heavyweight fight for its upcoming UFC 174: "Johnson vs. Bagautinov" pay-per-view (PPV) event, which is set to go down inside Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on June 14, 2014.

Ryan Jimmo vs. Ovince St. Preux, according to a report by The Province.

Jimmo (19-3) has been consistently inconsistent since making his Octagon debut back in 2012. "Big Deal" hasn't lived up to his moniker just yet, going 3-2 across five fights and failing to notch-back-to-back wins under the UFC banner, despite a lengthy streak on Canada's regional circuit.

No time like the present.

St. Preux (15-5) has been the complete opposite, winning his first three fights inside the Octagon after a torrid 6-1 run for Strikeforce. He was last seen choking out Nikita Krylov at the UFC 171 event back in March, the fourth submission win in his six-year career.

Will number five come in Vancouver?

UFC 174 will feature the first-ever flyweight PPV main event title fight between reigning division champion, Demetrious Johnson, and red-hot No. 4-ranked Russian grinder, Ali Bagautinov.

That's not all.

In the co-main event, homegrown mixed martial arts (MMA) talent, Rory MacDonald, will look to establish himself as the top welterweight contender on the roster at the expense of streaking Strikeforce veteran, Tyron Woodley, while Ryan Bader and Rafael Cavalcante do some chin checking in the light heavyweight division.
