John Hackleman: Jon Jones should 'stop being a douchebag' because it's not a very 'Christian' thing to do

John Hackleman wasn't too impressed with Jon Jones' recent Instagram posts, in which "Bones" took the opportunity to fire back at Chuck Liddell and Phil Davis.

Jon Jones wasted no time in gloating after his victory over Glover Teixeira at UFC 172 this past weekend (April 26, 2014) in Baltimore, Maryland, as "Bones" took to his Instagram account to shoot back at two of his biggest critics.

Chuck Liddell and Phil Davis.

Some may think Jon's post was justified, seeing as how "The Iceman" and "Mr. Wonderful" couldn't seem to keep the champ's name out of their mouths in the lead up to his title fight against Glover.

One man who wasn't impressed with the post was John Hackleman, longtime trainer to both Liddell and Teixeira.

"The Pit" master told Fight Hub TV recently that if "Bones" is indeed behind all of the latest activity on his Instagram account, then it's a douchebag move on his behalf and he needs to be more Christian-like and show a bit more respect to the sport of mixed martial arts (MMA).

His words:

"I hope that Jon's not posting pictures or doing anything like that. I feel that is disrespectful if he is and not very humble and Christian of him and how he wants us to perceive him. I don't know, maybe it is his manager or someone in his circle trying to stir the pot or something but that is a douche move. If he (Jon Jones) did do it or does know about it, I would take them down and have some more respect and I hope it is not him, I have a lot of respect for him. If he knows about it, don't be a douchebag and do that. Take the pictures down, show a little more respect and treat this like a martial art."

If that wasn't enough, Jones posted this video of him imitating "cry baby" fans who cried foul, claiming that he was a dirty fighter for the multiple eye pokes on Teixeira.

In Hackleman's view, the pokes were completely accidental and went on to say that Jones is far from a dirty fighter. Not even after "Bones" nearly separated Glover's shoulder with a nasty arm crank. A move the famed trainer says is legal.

Oh, and that potential "super fight" between Jones and Liddell isn't going to happen, ever, according to "The Pit" master.
