Superman Anderson Silva is showing once again (via Instagram) that his healing powers are indeed superhero-like, as the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight champion was spotted sparring under the tutelage of famed boxing trainer, Freddie Roach, four months after shattering his right leg against Chris Weidman at UFC 168 on Dec. 28, 2014.

Silva's latest progress report (see more here and here) is a good sign for mixed martial arts (MMA) fans who are clinging to the hope that "The Spider" will return to the Octagon by end of this year.
At least, that's what Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) president Dana White claims.
The loss for Silva was his second straight at the hands of Weidman, as "All American" knocked him out five months earlier at UFC 162 in Las Vegas, Nevada, ending his dominant run atop the 185-pound mountain.
Nevertheless, Silva is recuperating well and looks to be on his way to making a return to the Octagon for another potential run at the title.
But, as impressive as his progress is, does it top Tyrone Spong walking 40 hours after suffering the same injury at GLORY 15?
