Video: Luke Rockhold open to easy payday, promises to 'Hendo' Michael Bisping in grudge match

Skip to the 6:00 minute mark to hear the former Strikeforce middleweight champion talk all things Bisping.

There was a time when Luke Rockhold was asking for a fight against Michael Bisping in an attempt to settle their beef and climb the middleweight ladder, in the process. A request "The Count" denied seeing as how he was sitting pretty high in the rankings at the time, while Rockhold had yet to pick up a win inside the Octagon.

It's funny what a few months (and a loss) can do.

Fresh off his unanimous decision defeat to Tim Kennedy at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): "Nations" Finale, Bisping is now the one taking to Twitter and asking for the fight.

But, unlike Bisping, Rockhold wouldn't mind taking a step back for a chance to shut the brash Brit's mouth for good. After all, Rockhold has never been one to turn down "easy money," as he recently told MMA Fighting:

"The tables have turned, oh have they. Like I said on Twitter, I'm never opposed to easy money. I'll take a paycheck and shut Bisping's mouth for good. Obviously I don't think Tim got the job done, it takes a lot to shut his mouth. Tim had a great fight and won the fight, but maybe I need to put another 'Hendo' on him, or something, you know? Lay something down. It would be sweet to shut him up, that's all I got to say. I wouldn't mind taking a step back to shut his mouth. I'm not going to lie. I wasn't happy, because I knew I could have beat him up worse and I think can stop him. Tim fought great, but I believe I can put an exclamation on that guy."

Sorry, Brad Tavares, but it looks like Bisping may have found himself a new dance partner.

Of course, Rockhold has to take care of the immediate business at hand as he is booked to face off against Tim Boetsch at this weekend's (April 26, 2014) UFC 172 pay-per-view (PPV) event in Baltimore, Maryland.

After that, he'll consider taking a bout against "The Count" and attempt to do his best Dan Henderson impersonation by knocking out the British banger. Something Kennedy was unable to do.

Rockhold vs. Bisping, who wants it?
