UFC Quick Quote: Mark Hunt isn't far away from a heavyweight title shot

Keep your money (and your hate) because Hunt is in it to win it!

"It's not about money for me. I'm in it for a shot at the title. I don't want to be just fighting for the sake of fighting. My goal is to be the best fighter on the planet. I don't give a stuff what anyone else thinks, I just want an opportunity to fight for it and I don't think I'm far away."

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight contender Mark Hunt, who is currently rehabbing a broken hand after his UFC Fight Night 33 draw against Antonio Silva, expects to get back inside the Octagon later this year and compete for the division title, according to comments he made to MMA Weekly. The No. 8 ranked "Super Samoan" can probably kill two birds with one stone by getting one step closer to the strap and avenging a loss to "Demolition Man," if and when the promotion gives him his long-desired rematch against fellow title chaser (and PRIDE FC veteran) Alistair Overeem. Either way, Hunt (9-8) doesn't think he's that far away from a crack at the crown ... how about you?
