Resurrection Fighting Alliance (RFA) kicked off a busy weekend of mixed martial arts (MMA) last Friday night (March 7, 2014), with RFA 13: "Cochrane vs. Escudero" from inside the Pershing Center in Lincoln, Nebraska, broadcast live on AXS TV.
In the main event of the evening, The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 15 contestant Dakota Cochrane survived a late rally from fellow TUF guy Efrain Escudero to leave the "Cornhusker State" with a unanimous decision victory.
That's not all.
Andrew Sanchez kept his perfect record intact with a second-round technical knockout win over Miles Marshall, while Chidi Njokuani gave the crowd a scare with an illegal elbow to Chris Heatherly that left "Stump" prone on the canvas for several minutes.
