Alexander Gustafsson viciously knocked out Jimi Manuwa in the main event of today's (Sat., March 8, 2014) UFC Fight Night 37: "Gustafsson vs. Manuwa" showcase broadcast on UFC Fight Pass from the O2 Arena in London, England. Though expected, it was a thoroughly dominant finish that kept "The Mauler's" stock high -- not to mention his bank account -- as he campaigns for another crack at Jon Jones and the light heavyweight championship title. UFC President Dana White revealed at the post-fight press conference that Gustafsson would receive the next title shot no matter what, and he earned it here. Credit to Manuwa, he looked competent for a time, but the cream rises to the top and on a long enough timeline the best shine through. That's what happened here, again, as expected.
