Sorry to disappoint all the mixed martial arts (MMA) fans clinging to the rumor that former face of women's MMA, Gina Carano, is fighting Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey this summer. UFC President Dana White told reporters at the UFC Fight Night 37 media scrum (via MMA Junkie) has "no plans" for the ex-Strikeforce headliner, but would "definitely" give her a fight if she mounted a combat sports comeback attempt. Not that she has a choice, since she had all four of her remaining Strikeforce fights transferred over to UFC when ZUFFA swallowed up the rival promotion in 2011. But without a featherweight division, don't plan on seeing the budding movie star rush back to the cage. Then again, if the price was right ...
