UFC 173: Chilly TJ Dillashaw letting Duane Ludwig leave Team Alpha Male with a title under his belt (Video)

But in order to pull it off, he needs to defeat a 32-1 champion who hasn't lost in nine years. Piece of cake!

"I just couldn't sleep at all, everything was going through my head about how things are going to change. In my mind, I am going to be the new UFC champion of the world. I get chills being the one who has a chance to bring that belt back to Sacramento and Team Alpha Male under Duane Ludwig. Duane is my coach and it works out perfect that he is going to be able to leave with a title under his belt."

Parting is such sweet sorrow! But it sure would make it easier if there was 135 pounds of gold to help with the transition. That's the mindset of new Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight number one contender TJ Dillashaw (via News 10 ABC), who was able to leapfrog the injured Raphael Assuncao and land in a UFC 173 main event title fight opposite Renan Barao (because of this). That's where his coach, Duane Ludwig, will finish up his duties as head coach of Team Alpha Male (more on that here) and the former Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 14 runner-up wants to go out with a "Bang," capturing the division strap over Memorial Day Weekend and (finally) bringing a belt home back to Sacramento. Anyone think he gets it done?
