Video: 'Patient' Dan Henderson still chasing UFC title shot following Shogun Rua knockout in Brazil

But will it be at middleweight, or light heavyweight?

"That's the last goal of mine and the last thing I need to achieve in this sport is getting that UFC title. I've had other titles, but that UFC belt still eludes me. I'm still after it and I feel like I'm still capable of doing that. There's so many guys at light heavyweight now and half the fans are asking me to go down to middleweight, so I'm really open to anything."

Aging light heavyweight contender Dan Henderson (30-11) is back in the win column -- and back in the 205-pound title hunt -- following a huge knockout win over Mauricio Rua last night (March 23, 2014) in the FOX Sports 1 main event in Natal, Brazil (watch it). After busting "Shogun's" beak (pic), "Hendo" set his sights on a UFC title, something that has eluded him throughout his storied mixed martial arts (MMA) career, thanks to losses at UFC 75 and UFC 82 (and no-showing UFC 151). But is a durable chin and a big right hand enough to get him to the promised land? See all the UFC Fight Night 38 results and highlights here.
