UFC 171 results: Ovince St. Preux submits Nikita Krylov

It took Ovince St. Preux less than two minutes to submit Nikita Krylov in the PPV kickoff of tonight's UFC 171 event.

USA TODAY Sports

The main card of tonight's (Sat., March 15, 2014) UFC 171: "Hendricks vs. Lawler" pay-per-view (PPV) at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, featured former Strikeforce contender Ovince St. Preux looking to extend his winning streak to three in the Octagon against light heavyweight young gun Nikita Krylov.

Mission accomplished, in a really surprising way.

The bout opened with "OSP" taking Kyrlov down off a body kick. He worked from side control and while many weren't aware o what they were seeing, St. Preux locked in what's known as a Von Flue choke.

And Krylov went limp after trying to fight him off for roughly one minute.

That was a fun way to kick off the PPV.
