Tim Kennedy calls Michael Bisping a dirty, eye-poking jerk, 'The Count' yawns in retaliation

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight Tim Kennedy will finally get his wish, as the promotion has granted him a 185-pound showdown against Michael Bisping in the five-round main event of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) "Nations" live finale on April 16, 2014 in Quebec City, Canada.

It's payback time.

Kennedy wants to accomplish a couple of objectives in his latest offensive. In addition to knocking him around for the better part of 25 minutes, the Strikeforce import wants to punish Bisping for his "dirty" fight against Jorge Rivera, one that earned "The Count" the new nickname, "Michael Spitsbing."

From Kennedy's Yahoo! Blog:

"Is he a jerk because he's a loudmouth who likes to talk a lot? Is he a jerk because of what he did three years ago fighting against a friend of mine? Is it his overall dislikeability? Yes to all of that, but it's how he fights. I think he fights dirty. I don't even know how many times he's eye-poked an opponent. He has to hold the record. I'm going to have to talk to FightMetric about that. He probably holds the record for the most significant eye-pokes in the UFC. That's pretty telling. He does a whole bunch of things. I couldn't narrow it down to just one thing."

Bisping later apologized for his behavior at UFC 127.

But that apology was not accepted by Kennedy, who has been targeting the brash Brit for a couple of years now. Based on these comments, it sounds like the former Green Beret couldn't stomach the fact that Bisping was banking beaucoup bucks for beating guys like "Mayhem" Miller.

"The Count" has heard these cries, and could barely muster up a yawn.

Soon, the time for talking will be done and these two middleweights -- both talented -- will hook 'em up inside the cage. But who leaves Quebec City with their arm raised? For that, dear reader, I defer to you.

Who ya' got?
