Brazilians on one side, Americans on the other.
We at least know who has the home field advantage, as Dan Henderson tries to make it two in a row against Mauricio Rua in the UFC Fight Night 38 main event, which takes place inside the Nelio Dias Gymnasium in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, on March 23, 2014.
Here's a look at the official poster (in Portuguese):
Henderson (29-11) first battled his fellow PRIDE FC veteran in the UFC 139 headliner back in 2011. His "Fight of the Year" candidate was the last time the former middleweight recorded a win, having since dropped his next three contests, including a pair of split decisions to Lyoto Machida and Rashad Evans.
Then came a devastating knockout loss against the revitalized Vitor Belfort.
Rua (22-8) is 2-2 during that same span. After rebounding with a technical knockout win over Brandon Vera, "Shogun" dropped consecutive bouts to Alexander Gustafsson and Chael Sonnen. With his future at 205 pounds in jeopardy, the Brazilian roared back to crush James Te Huna.
That's not all.
UFC Fight Night 38 will also feature a lightweight bangfest between Leonardo Santos and Norman Parke, in addition to a middleweight mash-up pitting C.B. Dollaway against Cezar Ferreira in a battle of Ultimate Fighter (TUF) grads.
