Going out on a limb here, predicting that the reported match-up between Diego Brandao against Will Chope will not go the distance.
The bout, which MMAFighting.com reports will occur at UFC Fight Night 38: "Henderson vs. Shogun 2" from the Nelio Dias Gynasium in Natal, Brazil, on March 23, 2014, will be an opportunity at redemption for both Featherweight standouts.
Brandao will come into the bout following the most disappointing performance of his young career against Dustin Poirier at UFC 168, where he came into the match overweight and then lost via first-round technical knockout. The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 14 winner has uncanny amounts of potential, and when honed, can be an explosive 145-pound wrecking machine.
Chope will attempt to slow things down against the dangerous striker to tally another submission (already has 12) onto his career win total (19). "The Kill's" only match inside the Octagon was a loss to Max Holloway at UFC Fight Night 34 earlier this year.
UFC Fight Night 38 is set to blast off with nine other fights, headlined by a rematch of arguably the greatest mixed martial arts (MMA) bout in modern history, Dan Henderson vs. Shogun Rua (see staredown pic here).
