The latest "official" Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) rankings are out with the conclusion of UFC 169, which took place last Saturday night (Feb. 1, 2014) at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
See all the results and fallout of "Barao vs. Faber 2" by clicking here.
Despite getting dropped and stopped in the "Garden State" headliner, top bantamweight contender Urijah Faber holds on to the top spot below his Brazilian nemesis, likely because he's already defeated most of the top 10-ranked fighters in his division.
That's not all.
Alistair Overeem began his ascent back to the summit of the heavyweight list by smashing Frank Mir over the course of three "crappy" rounds. But what goes up, must come down, so Mir suffers in the standings as a result from his lopsided defeat.

So much for "Barao" taking over the top of the pound-for-pound list (as previously predicted).
As you can see, there is plenty to talk about (Edgar?). And you can expect these numbers to change in two weeks after UFC Fight Night 36, which features significant bouts in the middleweight division with Lyoto Machida vs. Gegard Mousasi and Ronaldo Souza vs. Francis Carmont.
