UFC 169: "Barao vs. Faber 2" blew the roof off the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, this past Sat., Feb. 1, 2014, featuring a main event of Renan Barao stopping Urijah Faber in their rematch via strikes, though referee Herb Dean has come under fire for not giving "The California Kid" enough of a chance.

The co-headlining attraction showcased Jose Aldo retaining his featherweight title by methodically breaking down Ricardo Lamas in a unanimous decision victory that wasn't sexy but was certainly definitive.

The other three main card bouts saw Alistair Overeem safely work over Frank Mir, Ali Bagautinov beat on John Lineker, and Abel Trujillo knock out Jamie Varner in a barnburner.
