UFC 170 fighter payouts for those competing on the "Rousey vs. McMann" pay-per-view (PPV) main card this evening (Sat., Feb. 22, 2014) from inside Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, were released earlier today by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC).
Sticker shock? Hardly.
UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will bank $55,000 for showing up and another $55,000 for taking home the win. Unless, of course, opponent Sara McMann can score the upset and win a combined $32,000, based on her 16/16 split.
"Rowdy" made 45/45 for UFC 157 and 50/50 for UFC 168.

Cummins, win or lose, will make more in one night as a fighter than he could in six months as a barista.
Keep in mind the salaries listed above do not include fight bonuses, sponsorships, percentages and other unofficial payments such as PPV bonuses, among others. It also does not include deductions for expenses such as insurance, taxes, etc.
For example, the UFC often hands out extra cash for "Fight of the Night" and "Performance of the Night." Expect those numbers for UFC 170 to be revealed later tonight.
