Daniel Cormier vs. Patrick Cummins full fight video preview online for UFC 170

In the co-main event of tonight's (Sat., Feb. 22, 2014) UFC 170: "Rousey vs. McMann" pay-per-view (PPV) from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, Daniel Cormier will fight his former friend and Olympic training partner, Patrick Cummins. It's a real Rocky story, as the UFC would tell it, because Cummins was working in a coffee shop and got fired just to take this fight on 10 days notice after Rashad Evans, Cormier's original opponent, was forced out due to injury. He's talking a big game too.

"Patrick Cummins, Pat. He was one of my training partners when I was getting ready for the Olympic games in 2004. ... Just don't prod a guy that has advantages over you already. Now you're the enemy. I gotta beat you, I gotta smash you Pat Cummins. I expect to dominate the fight as I do every time I step inside the cage. Show Pat Cummins the moment the referee says fight that 'man, I'm in over my head'. This is the biggest mistake that Pat Cummins has ever made in his entire life. Because not only did he take a fight with me on 10 days notice he actually prodded me. I want to beat him in every facet of every part of mixed martial arts. I don't want him to feel like he won anything. On Sunday, when he gets up in the morning, he wakes up and goes 'man, that dude beat me up at every turn.'"

"They put us together in simulation matches. I threw him for five. If you don't know, throwing him for five is basically throwing his hips over his head. I hear this sniffling in my ear and I'm like 'what's going on right now?' We break and we come back and I see his face and he's crying. ... At the end of the day, this is my dream. I've been devoting my life to this with this one goal in mind, to be the best 205'er in the world. This is the fast track. There's nothing better. He's going to sit back in that chair at the end of the round and be like 'oh no, what have I done?' I'm going to be in his face from the start. Push the pace and look for a finish the entire time. It will come just from being relentless and dragging him to a place that he's never been before." will provide LIVE round-by-round, blow-by-blow coverage of the entire UFC 170 fight card, starting with the Fight Pass "Prelims" matches online, which are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET, right on through the FOX Sports 1-televised under card bouts at 8 p.m. ET and then main card PPV, which is slated to begin at 10 p.m. ET.

See you then!
