UFC on FOX 11: Sean Soriano vs Estevan Payan booked for April 19 in Orlando

There's an interesting featherweight match-up in the works for UFC on FOX 11 as Sean Soriano battles Estevan Payan inside the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, on April 19, 2014.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) announced the 145-pound pairing earlier today.

Soriano (8-1) is hoping to rebound from a poor showing in his Octagon debut. The crafty Brazilian suffered the first defeat of his mixed martial arts (MMA) career when Tatsuya Kawajiri choked him out as part of the UFC Fight Night 34 event last month in Singapore.

Time to get back on the horse and try again.

Waiting to greet him will be Payan (14-5), who is likely one loss away from the unemployment line. After a strong run on the regional circuit, "El Terrible" was outpointed by Jeremy Stephens at UFC 160, then pounded out by Robbie Peralta at UFC 168.

It's now or never.

UFC on FOX 11 will feature a heavyweight No. 1 contender bout as Fabricio Werdum battles a red-hot Travis Browne in the main event. In addition, Miesha Tate takes on Liz Carmouche in women's bantamweight action, while Donald Cerrone throws leather against fellow lightweight Edson Barboza.
