Super Bowl 48: Broncos coach John Fox earns $1 million for win over Seahawks

As if there wasn't already enough on the line.

When the Denver Broncos take the field later today (Sun., Feb. 2, 2014) at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, to take on the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 48, Head Coach John Fox won't be competing simply for the Lombardi Trophy and a Gatorade bath.

He's also got a $1 million bonus on the line.

From ESPN:

Fox has a $1 million bonus built into his contract if the Broncos win the Super Bowl, a source familiar with the contract told ESPN.

Fox, who failed in his first effort to win a Super Bowl while coaching the Carolina Panthers 10 years ago, has been with Denver for three years and had the team in the Playoffs in each of those seasons. He even won a playoff game with Tim Tebow at the helm, lest you think Peyton Manning deserves all the credit.

Now if Manning and his juggernaut offense can outscore just one more team, Fox will be rolling in even more dough.

Be sure to keep it locked here all Sunday afternoon because we will have complete Broncos vs. Seahawks results, including quarter-by-quarter, play-by-play updates, from kickoff to final whistle RIGHT HERE.
