Super Bowl XLVIII is well underway tonight (Sun., Feb. 2, 2014) from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, featuring the AFC Champion Denver Broncos taking on the NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks.

SUPER BOWL XLVIII FOURTH QUARTER PLAY-BY-PLAY, LIVE BLOG:
Super Bowl 48 score to start fourth quarter:

The Broncos attempted an onside kick but were unsuccessful.
Seattle ball on the Denver 48 yard line.
1st and 10: Robert Turbin found the edge on the left side and broke a huge gain but a flag immediately came out and Seattle was called for holding. That nullifies the play and pushes the Seahawks back 10 yards.
1st and 20: Russell Wilson found his tight end, Zach Miller, for a gain of nine on a play-action.
2nd and 11: Another play-action resulted in a nine yard gain to Golden Tate.
3rd and 2: Wilson scrambled around and eventually found Doug Baldwin for a six yard gain on the run. Yet another first down.
1st and 10: Wilson went down the field to Jermaine Kearse for 24 yards and the beating continues.
1st and Goal: Wilson found Baldwin on a route that looked similar but saw Baldwin sit down near the end zone, break a tackle or two, and push across the goal line for yet another score.

Trindon Holliday barely picked up 10 yards on the ensuing kickoff.
Denver ball at their own 13 yard line.
1st and 10: Peyton Manning's pass was batted down at the line by Cliff Avril, who has had himself one hell of a day.
2nd and 10: Manning tried to find Demaryius Thomas but the pass was broken up by Richard Sherman, who was injured on the play.
3rd and 10: Manning tried to find Thomas again but the pass went too far. A flag was thrown for pass interference, however, giving Denver a first down.
1st and 10: Manning went right back to Thomas, who made the catch this time and picked up a first down up to the 45 yard line. Seattle CB Walter Thurmond was injured on the play.
1st and 10: Manning found Montee Ball out of the backfield but he was roughed up and taken down after gaining just a yard.
2nd and 9: Another pass to Wes Welker went for about seven to set up third and short.
3rd and 2: A quick hitter screen to Eric Decker was dropped.
4th and 2: Manning's pass to Ball fell incomplete when he failed to grab it before the nose of the ball touched the turf. That's a turnover on downs.

Seattle ball at their own 47 yard line.
1st and 10: Robert Turbin got a carry for six yards.
2nd and 4: Another carry for Turbin went up the middle for three.
3rd and 1: Turbin crashed into the line and broke through for a first down.
1st and 10: Guess who got the ball? Turbin, who picked up five. However, a flag was thrown for holding that nullified the gain and pushed the Seahawks back 10 yards.
1st and 20: Wilson scrambled out of the pocket for a gain of 16 before being forced out of bounds.
2nd and 4: Turbin carried off the right side and came up just shy of the marker after a gain of three.
3rd and 1: Turbin took another carry but Denver's defense collapsed on him and made the stop.
4th and 1: They actually went for it, but missed on a play-action pass. Turnover on downs.

Denver ball on their own 31 yard line.
1st and 10: Manning handed off to Ball and he went for three yards off the right side. Just five minutes remain, so it's simply a countdown to the Seattle celebration.
2nd and 7: Ball tried to go off the right side but he was swarmed for a big loss.
3rd and 11: Manning tried to find D. Thomas deep down the field but the throw was off and fell incomplete.
4th and 11: Manning's pass was knocked out of his hands, ruled a fumble and recovered by the Seahawks.

1st and 10: Turbin got a carry that went for three yards on a cutback to the left side.
2nd and 7: Wilson checked out off the game and Tavaris Jackson gets to play a few snaps. Turbin picked up nothing on a run.
3rd and 7: Jackson threw the ball away on a rollout.
4th and 7: They went for it again and Turbin was stopped after a gain of just two.

1st and 10: Manning found C.J. Anderson for a first down on a quick little catch and run.
1st and 10: Manning handed off inside to Anderson. He picked up about three yards.
2nd and 7: One final play, a run goes for seven.
