No surprises here.
As she has been since the day the fight was announced, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight titleholder Ronda Rousey is favored to defeat fellow Olympian Sara McMann in the main event of UFC 170, which takes place this Saturday night (Feb. 22, 2014) inside Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
That's according to her fellow "pros" (via MMA Interviews):
Joseph Benavidez: Rousey by logic
Urijah Faber: Undecided
Jake Ellenberger: Undecided
Beneil Dariush: Rousey by submission
Rafael dos Anjos: Rousey by anything she wants
Brian Stann: Undecided
MIke Pyle: Rousey by submission
Pros who picked Rousey: 4
Pros who picked McMann: 0
Undecided: 3
Ronda Rousey def. Sara McMann 4-3 by way of pros picks.
Naturally, anything can happen once the cage door closes (results here), but the general consensus seems to be that McMann will not be able to handle the champ's winning combination of technique and intensity come fight night.
Anyone disagree?
