"It's going to be a very good fight, a fight that Rafael wants even more due to the stuff that the Russian's been saying. Rafael is a super respectful guy; he doesn't speak ill about anyone. [Nurmagomedov] is a Russian version of Chael Sonnen because he doesn't respect jiu-jitsu and has no respect for those who come from jiu-jitsu. But he'll face a tough guy. Rafael is a tough fight for anyone in the division, and we'll do everything to have Rafa kick his ass. Rafa is training hard, and this struggle is no longer just his fight, but the fight of the whole group."
Sounds like Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight contender Rafael dos Anjos has more than just a spot in the division pecking order at stake when he tangles with Khabib Nurmagomedov at the upcoming UFC on FOX 11 event on April 19 in Orlando, Florida. The Brazilian will also be representing the sport of jiu-jitsu, according to coach Rafael Cordeiro, who tells Sherdog.com "The Eagle" has been running his mouth and disparaging the jiu-jitsu community with his comments (and t-shirts), which may make him more like Dave Herman than Chael Sonnen. Either way, Dos Anjos is planning to "shut him up" once and for all in "The Sunshine State." Do you like his chances?
