UFC Quick Quote: Tyron Woodley may be green, but he's still dangerous

Evidenced by two devastating knockout wins in just three trips to the Octagon.

Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sp

"Woodley is a great wrestler. He's a very accomplished amateur wrestler and he's transitioning into a great mixed martial artist. He has a lot of depth with his wrestling skills. He's very good at a few things, but he's still fairly green to this sport. Those things he does well are still extremely dangerous."

If there is one thing Carlos Condit has learned by now, it's that you can't make a run at the division title without facing a handful of great wrestlers. That said, expect "The Natural Born Killer" to be drilling takedown defense ahead of his Tyron Woodley fight at the upcoming UFC 171: "Hendricks vs. Lawler" pay-per-view (PPV) event, which is set to go down inside the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, on March 15, 2014. Condit (via Bleacher Report) was upended by Georges St. Pierre, as well as Johny Hendricks, in his bid to rule the 170-pound roost, and hopes that a strong showing against the green (but still dangerous) Woodley will send him back up the division ladder. With "Rush" jumping ship late last year, the field is wide open. But who will be "The Chosen One" next month in "The Lone Star State?"
