The official weigh-in event for UFC Fight Night 36: "Machida vs. Mousasi" took place today (Feb. 14, 2014) LIVE from Arena Jaragua in Jaragua do Sul, Santa Catarina, Brazil.

Maximo Blanco missed weight on the undercard and he will have an hour to rectify that. Stay tuned to for updates on that.

UFC Fight Night 36 will be headlined by a middleweight match-up pitting Lyoto Machida (20-4) vs. Gegard Mousasi (34-3-2) whereby the winner is expected to be at the top of a very short list of 185-pound title contenders.

Nipping at their heels is the middleweight co-main event that has Ronaldo Souza (19-3) trying to make it six in a row against dangerous up-and-coming prospect Francis Carmont (22-7), who hasn't lost since 2008 and is perfect through a half-dozen fights inside the Octagon.
