Jessica Eye's controversial split-decision win over Sarah Kaufman overturned by Texas Athletic Commission

The official result is now a "No Decision."

Andrew Richardson-USA TODAY Spor

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight contender Sarah Kaufman wanted Jessica Eye to do the "honorable thing" and admit she lost their 135-pound fight at the UFC 166 pay-per-view (PPV) event last October in Houston, Texas (recap here).

Now, she may not have to.

That's because the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation has changed the split decision result -- originally favoring Eye -- to a "no decision," according to a report from Sherdog.com, though no official reason was given for the surprise ruling.

More details are likely to be forthcoming when the commission re-opens for business on Monday. In the meantime, Kaufman -- who denies filing a grievance -- reverts back to 16-2, while Eye (pending results of her UFC 170 fight) remains stuck at 10-1. Naturally, there is only one way to settle a "no decision."

**Update: Eye was fined and placed on probationary suspension following a failed drug test (details here).
