After more than a year on the sidelines, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will send former 265-pound titleholder Junior dos Santos back into the Octagon to reclaim his place atop the very short list of division contenders at UFC on FOX 13 from inside U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona, on Sat., Dec. 13, 2014.
The means to that end is a five-round main event against talented heavyweight up-and-comer Stipe Miocic, who could easily rocket his way up the divisional ladder with an upset win in "The Grand Canyon State."
Elsewhere on the UFC on FOX 13 fight card, Alistair Overeem looks to right the ship against fellow Dutch import Stefan Struve, while Nate Diaz tries to prove he's the only contender who matters in the crowded lightweight division by turning away surging Brazilian wunderkind Rafael dos Anjos.
