It was a snoozefest, and then suddenly, Josh Samman snoozed Eddie Gordon with a brutal kick to the face in their Middleweight match up at UFC 181 last night (Sat., Dec. 6, 2014) from Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Samman had not competed inside the Octagon for more than 18 months because of injuries and the tragic death of his girlfriend, but he appeared to pick up right were he left off by finishing The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 19 winner. And, in the process, banking a "life-changing" $50,000 in extra cash for the "Knockout of the Night." Heck, that's a late candidate for "Knockout of the Year."
