Well, that solves one piece of the puzzle.
Former WWE superstar CM Punk has finally found a place to train. And considering he doesn't know how to throw a punch (his words), he probably couldn't do much better than Roufusport. Sure, it's not Holland (what is?) but he can learn from one of the top strikers in the game in UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis.
UFC President Dana White talks to FOX Sports Live:
"He's now picked a training camp. I'm pretty sure he's going to be training with Anthony Pettis, the 155-pound champion and his team. We're just going to see how he progresses in training and then we'll go from there."
Roufusport could use some good press after a turbulent 2014.
Punk signed with UFC earlier this month but isn't expected to make his Octagon debut until late 2015. Outside of some jiu-jitsu training, the former pro wrestler has zero experience in combat sports and has a lot of catching up to do. Some of his fellow fighters are all for it.
Others just want to see him get KTFO ... which may be harder to do if he's learning how to strike from the guys at Roufusport.
Right?
